Boarding

Our boarding kennel provides 17 large dog cages, 18 small dog cages, and 16 "cat condos."  There are outside covered runs, as well as a fenced play yard for the dogs (see pictures below).  You are welcome to bring your pet's own food to be fed while they are boarding, otherwise we feed Science Diet Sensitive Stomach formula food (dry kibble) to both cats and dogs during their stay.  Bringing dishes/bowls is not necessary, however if you would like to bring a blanket/bed that is washable you are welcome to do so.  Toys such as rawhides, rope toys, natural bones, etc. are not allowed due to their choking hazard potential.  If you have any questions regarding appropriate bedding or toys, please contact our office 740-592-1982

We require the following vaccinations for pets to be boarded in our kennel:

Dogs:
  1. Canine Distemper-Adenovirus Type 2-Parainfluenza-Parvovirus Vaccine/ Canine Coronavirus Vaccine/Leptospira Bacterin (DHLPPC Vaccine-MUST BE GIVEN EVERY YEAR)
  2. Canine Adenovirus Type 2-Parainfluenza-Bordetella Bronchiseptica Vaccine (Bordetella/Kennel Cough Vaccine- MUST BE GIVEN EVERY 6 MONTHS)
  3. Rabies Vaccine (MUST BE GIVEN ATLEAST EVERY 3 YEARS)
Cats:
  1. Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia-Chlamydia Psittaci Vaccine (FVRCPC Vaccine-MUST BE GIVEN EVERY YEAR)
  2. Feline Leukemia Vaccine (FELV Vaccine-MUST BE GIVEN EVERY YEAR)
  3. Rabies Vaccine (MUST BE GIVEN ATLEAST EVERY 3 YEARS)

(all vaccines can be boostered upon arrival for additional fees)

Pricing

Dogs: (Regular Boarding) $27.50 per pet per day   
   (Hospital Boarding) $35.00  per pet per day

Cats:  (Regular Boarding) $21.50 per pet per day
   (Hospital Boarding) $27.00 per pet per day

All pets will be in regular boarding kennels unless they have medical needs that require a technician to give special care/medications such as diabetic pets

Boarding prices are based off a drop off schedule that goes from time of drop off to 11am the next morning. After 11am the next days boarding starts. 

Boarding Discount:  We offer a 10% discount if pets board for 5 + consecutive days or if the family boards 3+ pets at one time. 

Pet Play time: Only pets from the same household are permitted to go into the open play yard together. We will never put your pet with any other pets for "group play. This is done for the safety of all pets. Each pet is given at least 30 mins of play yard time twice in the morning and twice in the evening. 

Reservations: All boarding reservations must be made over the phone. We do not take boarding requests via email because our schedule changes too frequently. Any requests sent via email will be instructed to call the clinic directly 740-592-1982
